  • Orders: All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in product descriptions or prices, or if we suspect fraudulent activity.

Payment Terms

Shipping and Delivery

  • We ship to addresses within the United States. Shipping fees and delivery times vary based on your location and the shipping method selected.
  • We are not responsible for any delays or damages caused by shipping carriers.

Canceling Your Order

If you need to cancel your order, please contact us BEFORE your order has shipped. Orders canceled prior to shipping will receive a full refund immediately.

Returns

Orders that have already shipped must go through customer service before being returned. To receive a full refund, we must be contacted within 14 days of delivery to authorize the return. The product must be unaltered and unused. Incorrect mounting of the optic to a firearm constitutes use, as finish scratches from screws and adapter plates cannot be undone.

Defective or Incorrect Products

Defective products, or products received incorrectly, will result in a warranty exchange for a new and correct product. Please contact our customer service through email at info@gideonoptics.com for us to begin the warranty process and get you an RMA shipping label. All return shipping costs will be provided and paid for.

Refunds

In the instances where refunds are issued, you should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of dropping off your package at the return shipper. In the majority of cases, you will get your refund much more quickly. It can take 5-10 business days for your return shipped product to arrive, followed by 3-5 days to process the return, and another 5-10 business days for your bank to process our refund request. We understand it all adds up to be longer than anyone wants, and we work towards minimizing delays on our end as much as possible.

Gideon Optics Lifetime Warranty

Your Gideon Optics product is guaranteed for life against manufacturer defects or accidental breakage. If your product fails to function during normal and intended use, Gideon Optics will repair or replace it at our discretion, following evaluation by our service team. Cosmetic damage is not considered a covered “failure”—for example, if your optic is scratched and/or dented and has the finish rubbed off of it but still functions correctly, then it still works. Intentional abuse is likewise not covered—leave the torture tests to the guys on YouTube. Refinishing a Gideon Optics will not void the warranty provided you used an air dry type coating only. Do not put optics in ovens to “cure” a custom finish. In the event that a refinished optic must later be returned, you will receive a standard optic with black finish in exchange.

Refinishing Gideon Optics

Painting a Gideon Optic will not void the warranty, but do not put it in an oven to cure. Use air dry type coatings only. Carefully mask the glass and emitter areas before painting and keep paint thinners, acetone, and other harsh chemicals away from the glass and emitters. In the event that a refinished optic must later be returned, you will receive a standard optic with black finish in exchange.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gideon Optics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use or inability to use the website or products.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Gideon Optics, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and suppliers, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of this website or your breach of these terms and conditions.

Changes to Terms and Conditions
